@Brandon and @Sam
Lots of papers offer PDFs of their print editions as well as horrifically unusable e-editions. The Trib has both, too.

The standard Janet Coats response: "It was too much for people to grasp."

Janet Coats should be fired. Every day she stays is a day that shows newspapers have lost their way.

I have this crazy idea... I have a laptop and I frequently have it with me on the bus on my commute, but I have no internet on the bus. I would pay up to $0.50 via paypal to get a PDF copy of my local paper I could read on samesaid commute. I might buy a subscription but to be honest I don't have time to read it every day so the 3 or 4 days a week I could, I would probably pony up the single-issue price, even though the subscription would probably be cheaper.

And if I did buy a subscription? I would want the download link emailed to me daily so I don't have to go looking for it.

Is there any paper, anywhere, that I can buy an electronic copy of, in its entirety, every day? Am I the only person who wants this?
