Please don’t use euphemisms for death
Today I’m reminded of a lesson I learned in a reporting 101 class:
People die.
People do not pass away. They do not meet Jesus. They do not cross over. They are not lost.

But sometimes they can’t get the word out….when your GG died, I heard myself say that she had passed (having never used that term before in my life). It took me a while to be able to say she had died.
